The Seasonal Allergy Cake

April showers bring May Flowers, and pollen... so much pollen. Don't Worry, Bee Nappy (from your antihistamine induced coma) and this Orange Blossom Honey Cake with Honey Cream Cheese Frosting. The internet says local raw honey may or may not help reduce your allergy symptoms, so keep telling yourself that while you eat this cake!

The Period Cake

Warn your loved ones that Shark Week is approaching with a Red Velvet Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting and Maraschino Cherries. PMS sucks, but it sucks considerably less with cake... and Midol.

The Tax Day Cake

In honor of Tax Day and my empty bank account, I hit up the Dollar Store for this week's cake. $3 dollars later, you have this masterpiece to remind you why you are so poor this week. #tasteslikeresponsibility

The Rainy Day Cake

I don't know how you spend your rainy days, but I spent mine listening to Prince, baking a Lavender Cake with Lavender Buttercream Frosting and White Chocolate Sprinkles, which I placed on one by one with a pair of tweezers. (Insert Dove Cry)
